And so I volunteered, I rose my hand that in addition to my existing duties, I asked if I could be included in some of the solutions sessions that they were having with their Salesforce partner that they were using to solution some of their application builds and also got involved in creating some workflow rules and some case assignment rules and that sort of thing. But I wanna speak a little bit right now about how to get those two things, the certification, which if you've done this course, you should be able to pass it at this point. And so, neither one of these are requirements, even though they may be listed as requirements on job openings on the various job boards. And then, finally, I personally know of people that have had neither certification or experience on a resume and still been hired as a Salesforce admin. And two, there's a lot of opportunities out there that you can utilize in order to get experience, in order to put that on a resume, in order to get hired. But I don't want you to worry about that a whole lot because, one, the demand is so great for Salesforce professionals that very minimal experience will usually be enough to get you a job because companies are frankly desperate to find people. And so, you might feel like, well, this is a catch-22 sort of situation, especially if you're changing careers. But then a lot of times, you will be speaking with hiring managers or recruiters, and they will want to see, or expect to see, some sort of relevant experience on your resume. Salesforce has two release windows for Sandboxes, which depends on whether your sandbox is a “Preview” instance or “Non-Preview Instance”.

You can sign up for a pre-release Org, but these, of course, will not have any of your configurations.

This is extremely important as this is the first opportunity you will get to test your system on the new release. The second thing you should be aware of is how and when your Sandbox is going to be upgraded. If you don’t know your instance, the quickest way to find out is to head to company information within Setup in your Salesforce. This will show you the date of the Salesforce Summer ’22 release hitting your Org. If you already know the instance your production Org is located on, you can head over to Salesforce Trust, click on your instance name, and hit “Maintenance”.

The Release Date for Summer ’22 will depend on your instance of Salesforce, but the main release weekends are on… Although Salesforce releases rarely have any major bugs, it’s important that these checks are carried out. It’s important that you test all your main use cases in your Org before this date to ensure that everything continues to work. The first thing you should be aware of is when your production instance will be upgraded to the Salesforce Summer ’22 release.
